Groups of 12 or more (or any size group of persons with disabilities) may qualify for a discounted rate. Please see our Large Group Reservations page to see if your group qualifies. Reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance and all persons must be present at the time of check-in to receive the discount.

Although some of our pathways are steep and may be challenging, Oakland Zoo is wheel-chair and stroller accessible. Strollers are available for rent: $5.00 for a single / $7.00 for a double. We do not have wheel-chairs for rent.

Oakland Zoo welcomes individuals with disabilities and is committed to ensuring that the Zoo grounds, facilities and programs are accessible to all visitors. While the Zoo generally prohibits any non-zoo animals from entering the Zoo and park grounds, exceptions are made for individuals with disabilities who bring their service animals to the Zoo.
