Every animal at the Zoo has special needs. Become a ZooParent by choosing from one of six gift categories. Your animal adoption helps to support the Zoo's operating budget, which in turn provides funds for animal care, conservation programs, education, and research.

Zoo Keeper Minimum of a $5.00 donation per month.
You will receive monthly email updates on your adopted animal, a personalized certificate, photo, animal fact sheet, recognition on our website, and after six months an animal plush of your adopted animal.

Advocate $30.00
Includes a personalized certificate, photo, an animal fact sheet, and recognition on our website.

Guardian $50.00
All the benefits of the Advocate package, plus an animal plush of your adopted animal. If a plush of your specific animal is not available, you will receive an African Elephant plush; the Oakland Zoo's signature animal.

Steward $150.00
All the benefits of the Guardian package, plus a one-time family admission pass to the Zoo and a children's book.

Conservationist $500.00
All the benefits of the Steward package, plus recognition in our Annual Report.

Zoologist $1000.00
All the benefits of the Conservationist package, plus an invitation to our annual donor appreciation event.
