The Oakland Zoo is looking for dedicated volunteers who love nature, want to learn more about creek habitats, and who don't mind getting a little dirty. So grab your garden gloves and join our amazing teem of volunteers who are part of Arroyo Viejo Creek Restoration Project.
People of all ages can experience nature in a safe environment!
Time: 10:00am-12:00pm, every third Saturday of the month.
What to Bring and Wear:
We will work in rain or shine, so come prepared! Bring sun block, sun glasses, hats, and dress in layers! Wear shoes that can get dirty. Shoes must be close-toed. Don't forget your water and snacks. Gloves and tools will be provided.
