Arroyo Viejo Creek Work Day

Come to the Arroyo Viejo Creek in Knowland Park and experience the local habitat, while helping it thrive. Grab your gardening gloves and help clean up the creek. We work rain or shine, so come prepared! Visit our Arroyo Viejo Creek Project webpage for more information.

Arroyo Viejo Creek The creek is located to the right of the Knowland Park parking booth. Please park on the lawn and meet at the Arroyo Viejo Creek sign.

Pre-Registration is required. Please email the following information: name of group/family, number of adults, and number of children.

Additional Program Information
  • Wear close-toed shoes that can get dirty.
  • Please bring a water bottle, snacks, and gardening gloves. (Extra gloves will be available.)
  • Tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.
  • Groups are welcome to volunteer. One adult chaperone is required for every 4 youth volunteers, 13 years of age and younger, as well as one adult chaperone for every 8 youth volunteers between 14-18 years of age.
