Walk in the Wild brings together some of the Bay Area's finest bakeries, breweries, caterers, restaurants, and wineries for the Oakland Zoo's largest annual fundraiser. Guests of this unique event will stroll through the Zoo and enjoy delicious cuisine, libations, fabulous entertainment, and dancing under the stars. Online registration is now open for 2013 Walk in the Wild. The event is on Saturday, June 22nd.

Contributions to the Oakland Zoo's Annual Fund provide year-round ongoing financial support to ensure the health and well-being of all the animals at the Zoo and provide for education and outreach, conservation, and animal welfare programs. Please consider making a gift now to the Zoo's Friends of the Wild Fund, and add your name to the list of friends and families that we count as our closest partners.

The Oakland Zoo's Friends of the Wild Zoologists are donors whose contributions to the Annual Fund total $1,000 or more in a calendar year. As a donor to the Zoo's Friends of the Wild at the Zoologist level, you will have access to a variety of benefits available only to our close supporters.

Making a gift 'in honor of' or 'in memory of' allows you to recognize loved ones on special occasions or express condolences by honoring the memory of a friend or relative. The Oakland Zoo will send notification to the specified party letting them know of your donation (gift amount not disclosed), and we will send you a tax receipt for your files.
