Animals and love, does it really exist? Does it last? How do they court one another? What about finding that mate or reproducing? Tell me more, tell me more.

The Oakland Zoo celebrates Valentine's Day two days this year. If you are an adult eighteen years or older, join us at the Oakland Zoo as we take a closer look on all things love related in the animal kingdom. Grab your mate and come on down to the Oakland Zoo for the Animal Amore events taking place on Thursday, February 14, 2013, and Friday, February 15, 2013. Animal Amore tour takes place in the morning on both Thursday and Friday at 9:00am-11:00am. This is a special walking tour through the Zoo that welcomes adults eighteen or older and will highlight how different animals mate and reproduce. Light refreshments will be served as you embark on this exciting learning adventure of various animal love lives. You will hear the good, the strange, and the truth about all things love with our animal friends. Program cost is $10.00 for members, with free parking, or $25.00. Pre-registration is required so secure your spot today.

Well you are in luck and can make it up by attending the Animal Amore evening event held on Friday, February 15, 2013 from 6:30pm-8:30pm.
