Discover the Clorox WildLife Theater nestled in the Wayne & Gladys Valley Children’s Zoo.
This amphitheater is used for a variety of programs including ZooCamp activities, ZooSchool (School Programs / Wildlife Assemblies) , live Animal Encounters, Overnight activities, and special guest performers!
The Oakland Zoo is fortunate enough to have a dedicated group of adult volunteers called Docents and teen volunteers called Teen Wild Guides who provide fun and education animal themed presentations and activities in the Clorox Wildlife Theater.
Book a special field trip experience for a live animal presentation with a well-trained Zoo Educator in your own private theater presentation. It’s more than educational- it’s a wild experience! Click here for more information on booking a Wildlife Assembly.
Hop, dance or stroll on over and join us for a demonstration or family event like no other. See our upcoming list and plan to be a part of the fun.
It’s furry... It’s scaly... It’s cool! You never know what you’re going to see during an Animal Encounter- but you can be sure it will be exciting and educational! These live animal presentations happen each Saturday and Sunday at 11:45am and 12:30pm starting on our annual Earth Day event through our annual Halloween event, Boo at the Zoo. Presentations are weather dependent. Times vary from season to season, so please check our Calendar of Events for specific details. All shows are free with Zoo Admission.
