Located in the East Bay, the Oakland Zoo is the perfect destination for outdoor nature discovery, animal adventures, and fun! We offer a week long summer camp program as well as day camps during Thanksgiving break, winter break, and spring break. Camp activities include interactive stories, puppet play, games, craft projects, science activities and of course, animals!
All the fun of summer ZooCamp packed into two day workshops! Activities will include zoo tours, animal close-ups, crafts, puppet play, costumes, and song sessions. At our Spring Break day camp, your child will learn about animals, nature, and how they can help protect wild places.
Is your animal-crazed kid looking for fun this summer? The Oakland Zoo takes great pride in creating age-appropriate options for campers age 4 through High School. Summer Camp sessions are one week long and run from mid-June to mid-August. Program information is posted each year in January, and online registration opens in mid-March.
Unsure what to do with your child when relatives are arriving and the house is full of holiday chaos? Send them to us! Thanksgiving Break ZooCamp runs the Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday right before Thanksgiving. Sign up for one day or all three!
Looking for something enriching for your child during their winter break from school? Our Winter Break day camp offers all the fun of Summer ZooCamp packaged in two day classes!
