Spring Break ZooCamp

Group of ZooCampers Unsure what to do with your children during their school’s Spring Break? Send them to us!

Spring Break ZooCamp runs Monday - Friday during the Spring Break weeks most common among East Bay school districts. This year we are offering a three-day workshop on Monday-Wednesday and a two-day workshop on Thursday-Friday. Curriculum is designed so that campers can register for a full five days without repeating activities. Participants must be currently enrolled in Kindergarten - 5th grade. Program hours are 9:00am - 4:00pm, with optional before and after care.

Please look over the information below regarding themes, cost, registration, reservation and cancellation policies and other important information.

Programs for Spring Break 2016

March 28-30 or April 4-6: A day in the life...
What would it be like to spend a day in the life of a vet…or a zookeeper…or an animal researcher? Come learn about what goes into different jobs around the zoo. Please note: campers will get to create enrichment for one of our zoo animals, but we are usually unable to have campers go into animal exhibits.

March 31-April 1 or April 7-8: Predator and Prey
Would you rather eat or be eaten? Predators need to hunt to survive, but their prey work to avoid being eaten in every way possible! Learn more about what makes animals good predators, wily prey, and who fits into both categories.
