Oakland Zoo Celebrating the 15th Annual “Walk in the Wild” Fund Raiser - An Epicurean Escapade

As it has each summer for 15 years, Walk in the Wild brings together the Bay Area's finest restaurants, caterers, vintners and breweries for the Oakland Zoo's largest fund raiser of the year. Attending one of the premier events in the Bay Area, Walk in the Wild guests stroll through the Zoo and enjoy delicious cuisine, libations, fabulous entertainment and dancing under the stars.
All proceeds benefit the Oakland Zoo's conservation, education and animal enrichment programs. Last year, through our efforts, over 43,000 school age children developed a connection to wildlife and the natural world.
Important Note Due to the service of alcohol, Walk in the Wild is an adults-only gathering. No one under the age of 21 will be permitted. No children or babes in arms.
Saturday June 23rd - “Walk in the Wild“ VIP Pre-Party Limited (4-6pm) Come and get a jump start on the festivities. Join us for hors d'oeuvres, wine and cocktails. Enjoy live music and an up close animal experience. Wines provided by Black Coyote Wines. Spirits provided by Hangar One and St. George Spirits.
Saturday June 23rd - “Walk in the Wild“ Wine Dine & Stroll (5-8pm) Stroll the Oakland Zoo and discover some of the Bay Area's finest epicurean offerings. Enjoy delectable treats from more than 70 restaurants, wineries and breweries.
Saturday June 23rd - “Walk in the Wild“ Dancing & Dessert Under the Stars (8-10pm) Celebrate into the evening, and under the stars, with live music, dancing and dessert.

The award-winning Oakland Zoo is home to over 440 native and exotic animals. Nestled in the Oakland Hills, in 525 acre Knowland Park, the Zoo is located at 9777 Golf Links Road, off Highway 580.
