Boo at the Zoo

WHEN Saturday, October 27 and Sunday, October 28 from 10:00am – 3:00pm

WHAT Oakland Zoo's family friendly Halloween celebration is now a two day event, featuring:

•Go on a Spooky Scavenger Hunt •Ride the Boo Choo-Choo •Watch Halloween Animal Feedings •Children wear your spooky Halloween costumes and receive a free rides ticket (excludes the Skyride) •Explore the Valley Children's Zoo, including the many fascinating creepy crawlies in the Bug House and the leather-winged flyers in the Malayan Bat Exhibit. •Pick up a Trick and Treat bag •Don’t miss the Valley Children’s Zoo Costume Parade at 11:30am, led by Miss Oakland 2007 Paula-Sue Silva, Miss Oakland’s Outstanding Teen Brande Hoofkin, and the Zoo’s own mascot, Roosevelt the alligator!

SPECIAL PERFORMANCES

Saturday, October 27th •Get up close and personal with ravens and crows in the Education Courtyard •Enjoy children entertainers, Sandi and Stevie in the Wildlife Theatre •Visit the HP booth to have your photo taken in your spooky costume •Dance to the tunes of the Good Old Blue Grass Boys at the Zoo’s Flamingo Plaza •Learn science through magic with “AstroWizard”

Sunday, October 28th •Watch a magic show with Daniel the Magician in the Wildlife Theatre •Dance to the tunes of the Good Old Blue Grass Boys at the Zoo’s Flamingo Plaza •Learn science through magic with “AstroWizard”

Boo at the Zoo is free with regular Zoo admission.

Senior Admission: $6.00 Adult Admission: $9.50
Child Admission (2-14) $6.00 Children Under 2: Free Parking: $6.00
