The whole family is invited to participate as the Revels returns to the Wayne and Gladys Valley Children’s Zoo for the 4th annual May Day Celebration. The traditional Maypole dance is only the beginning as singers, dancers, fiddlers, and even an animal or two gather to welcome in the merry month of May. There is plenty for both kids and parents to see and do as the Revels Solstice Ensemble not only serenades you but leads you in song. They’ll even invite you to join them in dancing the “Helston Furry Dance”. Special events will include the coronation of the “Queen of the May”, and an appearance by the exceedingly rare and wonderful “Padstow Hobby Horse”. Of course, the Deer Creek Morris Men will be on hand to delight you with their bells and capers. Be sure to bring the whole family to the Wayne and Gladys Valley Children’s Zoo at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 2nd to revel in the May!
