What better place to study plants and animals than the Oakland Zoo? Visit our zoo animals when they’re at their most natural state- when the zoo is closed to the public. Learn about wildlife research in the field, and do a bit of research yourself with the tools of a wildlife biologist!
You’ll embark on a zoo scavenger hunt, a private night tour, meet one of our education animal ambassadors up close, and try your hand at animal training the Oakland Zoo way. Plus, take home an art project that will grow even more beautiful with time. After a late night snack, get a good night’s sleep, because in the morning the exploration continues with an early morning zoo tour to see the animals as they awake!
Fee: $60 per person (child or adult); Plants & Animals Badge and Wildlife badges included; parking included.
