Older Girls Zoo Careers Workshop

What does it take to keep animals healthy in the Zoo? What exactly does a veterinarian do? What kinds of jobs exist that work with animals? Find the answers to all these questions and more at this workshop designed especially for Older Girl Scouts. See what the zoo is like at night after all the guests have gone home. Make enrichment for our zoo animals, and go behind-the-scenes on a private tour to see firsthand how our animals are cared for.

Fee: $20 per person (child or adult); Oakland Zoo Patch available for $3.00; parking not included. Pre-registration is required.
