Campers Entering or In High School

Campers in this age group have two options at ZooCamp! Chose your adventure from one of the camps below... or both!

Zoo Crew Experience the demands of being a zookeeper in this dynamic, hands-on camp. Each day we explore a different aspect of modern zoo keeping including cleaning an exhibit, designing enrichment for captive animals, learning about veterinary medicine, and training exercises for wild animals. If you think you might enjoy working with animals, this camp is for you. Times: Full day: 9:00am - 4:00pm Fees: $265 (Members) $285 (Non-Members)

Teen Assistant (TA) Love animals and kids? We need your help! Come to camp as a Teen Assistant and spend two weeks playing with kids and helping lead activities while earning community service hours. This program requires participants to fill out an application, provide a letter of reference, attend a training orientation, and participate in two weeks of camp. Deadline for applications are June 1 for Session 1-3 and July 6 for Sessions 4-8. Times: Full day: 9:00am - 4:00pm Fees: $60 (Members) $80 (Non-Members)

Special Friends
Campers may request one friend of the same age group to be with at ZooCamp and we will do our best to honor the request. Special Friend registrants must request each other on the on-line form.

Refunds (due to camper cancellations)
If you cancel more than 14 days before the first day of camp, you will receive a 90% refund. If you cancel less than 13 but more than 8 days before the first day of camp you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel less than 7 days before the first day of camp you will not receive a refund.
Membership fees are non-refundable.

Late Pick-Up Policy
A fee of $5.00 for every 15 minutes will be charged for late pickups.

Before and After Care - Campers entering K-8th Grade
We are pleased to offer before and after care options for three sessions of camp this summer. Extra-camp participants will spend their time supervised in our Discovery Room and Camp Courtyard, with choices of crafts, stories, or games to keep them busy.

After Care Sessions

Session 2: June 25 - June 29
Session 5: July 23 - July 27
Session 7: August 6 - August 10

After Care Times and Cost
$40 for 8:30am - 9:00am
$60 for 4:00pm - 5:30pm
$90 for 8:30am - 9:00am and 4:00pm - 5:30pm

You must sign up for before and after care during the registration process.
Registration for Members begins March 12 at 10:00am
Registration for Non-Members begins March 26 at 10:00am
