3 hours - $15 per participant
For Groups of six or more
The current programs include:
- Rain Forest Review (Grades 3-8) A closer look at essential functions of a tropical rain forest.
- Suitcase for Survival (Grades 3-12) Learn to use the U.S. Fish and Wildlife biofacts to teach about endangered animals and the illegal wildlife trade.
- There are Treasures at your Zoo (Grades K-2) Use the classic treasure hunt to learn about adaptations, habitats, and animals.
- Biodiversity (Grades 6-12) Learn what biodiversity is; the threats facing it and what you can do.
- Conservation (Grades 5-12) Learn about conservation through group activities and small group discussions taken from Project Wild.
- Habitats and Adaptations (Grades 6-12) Learn about animal adaptations during a scavenger hunt in the zoo!

ZooCreature Kits (Mammals, Birds, Herps)
Teachers can check out three different educational kits (Mammals, Birds, Reptiles and Amphibians) full of hands-on, engaging activities for students in grades 2-5. The kits are available for a nominal fee and come with curriculum guides and lesson ideas. Kits are on loan for two weeks.
For each subject we provide natural biofacts such as nests, bones, eggs and feathers. Each has a Nature-Scope curriculum guide, art lessons, field guides, storybooks, posters, puppets, games and photographs. Something for every kind of learner! (There are no live animals in this kit).
Cost: Teachers pay a fee of $25 and a deposit of $50 (cash or check) at time of check-out. Deposit is fully refundable dependant upon condition of returned kit.
Checkout: ZooCreature kits are available for check out Monday through Friday, 9:00 - 5:00.

Discovery Packs
Fee: $5, plus a $15 deposit. Fully refundable upon return of intact pack.
