INSECT POLLINATORS
A professional development workshop for upper elementary, middle and high school educators.
Learn to teach pollination through wildlife gardening. Attract bees, butterflies, and other insects to your school garden to study the interrelationship between insects and plants. Explore using QUEST media to excite students about insects and pollination.
A light lunch will be provided; attendees will receive an Educator DVD of the first season of QUEST including select television and radio stories for classroom use.
Space is limited.
NOTE: A $25 deposit is required to hold your space for this workshop. After registering online, you will receive instructions for submitting your deposit to KQED. All deposits will be returned to attendees on the day of the workshop. If you are unable to attend the workshop for any reason, you will forfeit your deposit. This allows KQED to recoup the costs for catering and material associated with registrants who do not attend the workshop.
