Latest figures out of India indicate there may be less than 1500 tigers left in the wild and only 3000 remaining throughout all of Asia. In China, between 4000-5000 tigers are being raised on farms to satisfy a market based on traditional beliefs in the efficacy of tiger medicines and the making of Tiger Bone Wine.
The time to embark on serious tiger conservation is now!
Brian has been leading tiger conservation tours to India and Nepal for 13 years. He founded The Fund for Tigers, based in Marin, in 1994. The Fund for The Tiger has worked to support anti-poaching patrols, tiger monitoring, poaching investigation and more. Join us and learn of the threats and future of this magnificent cat.
