Walk in the Wild brings together some of the Bay Area’s finest bakeries, breweries, caterers, restaurants, and wineries for the Oakland Zoo’s largest annual fundraiser. Guests of this unique event will stroll through the Zoo and enjoy delicious cuisine, libations, fabulous entertainment and dancing under the stars.
The Evening’s Schedule:
Walk in the Wild: Patron Party Limited (4-6pm)
Get a jump start on the festivities. Join us for hors d’oeuvres, wine and cocktails. Enjoy live music and an up-close animal experience. This special dining affair is brought to you by Market Hall Caterers. Partake in exclusive tastings by Rosenblum Cellars, Vintage Wine Estates, Wente Vineyards, Triple Rock Brewery, and Hangar One.
Walk in the Wild: Wine, Dine & Stroll (5-8pm)
Stroll the Oakland Zoo and discover some of the Bay Area’s finest epicurean offerings. Enjoy delectable treats from more than 90 bakeries, breweries, caterers, restaurants and wineries.
Dancing and Dessert Under the Stars (8-10pm)
Celebrate the evening under the stars with live music, dancing and dessert.
Walk in the Wild reservations begin April 1st! Online ticket reservations end at 5:00pm on Friday, June 26. Day of tickets for the Walk in the Wild Main Event may be purchased at the Zoo's main entrance beginning at 5:00pm on Saturday, June 27.

All proceeds from this event benefit the Oakland Zoo’s conservation, education and animal enrichment programs. Last year, through our efforts, over 50,000 school age children developed a connection to wildlife and the natural world.
Due to the service of alcohol, Walk in the Wild is an adults-only gathering. No one under the age of 21 will be permitted. No children or babes in arms.
