DONATION OPPORTUNITIES

The mission of the Oakland Zoo is to inspire respect for and stewardship of the natural world. We encourage those who share our mission to consider contributing to the Zoo. The Oakland Zoo is a non-profit organization, managed by the East Bay Zoological Society.

When you make a gift to the Oakland Zoo, you are making a significant contribution to the community. In addition to the support we receive through our Membership, Sponsor-an-Animal, and Annual Fund programs, direct gifts enable us to use the funds where they are needed most.

Your tax deductible donation will help us continue to provide outstanding care for our more than 440 native and exotic animals and to bring exceptional conservation education programs to the thousands of families and school children who visit the Zoo each year.

Giving Honorary and Memorial Gifts
A gift to the Oakland Zoo is a great way to honor or memorialize someone special. Please fill out a printable Contribution Form, so we know who the gift is for and who we should notify about your thoughtful gift.

Recognition
All gifts over $25 will be acknowledged in the Zoo's newsletter and gifts over $100 will be acknowledged in the Zoo's Annual Report.

Sign Up for eScrip
Your purchases at local merchants like Chevron, Safeway, and a host of others can support programs at the Oakland Zoo. The number of merchants that participate in the eScrip program is growing daily. All you have to do is pre-register with eScrip, and each time you use your debit, Visa or Mastercard a percentage of your purchase goes to the Oakland Zoo. To register, go to www.eScrip.com.
