Membership entitles you to unlimited admission, free parking, and special mailings throughout the year, including the official Zoo newsletter, roar!
Members receive a 10% discount in the Zoo gift shop, as well as free or discounted admissions to Zoos all over the country! You will receive a discount to over night programs and a host of Zoo classes, as well as the ability to attend events throughout the year at no additional charge.
Members receive special notification of Zoo events, and a discounted ticket price to the Zoo's annual fundraiser, Walk in the Wild!

Effective September 1, 2004, Oakland Zoo and Happy Hollow Zoo are pleased to announce a return to a reciprocal policy of free admission between those two zoos only. Effective November 1, 2003, The Oakland Zoo is offering a 50% discount on admission prices for members of other reciprocating zoos. Discounted prices: Adults: $4.50; Child/Senior: $2.75. Oakland Zoo members can expect similar arrangements at our partner zoos and should call ahead to the zoo they plan to visit for exact details.
