The Grounds Manager plays an important role in making the Zoo a safe, accessible and enjoyable place for our guests and animals by carefully maintaining the Zoo Grounds and Rental Facilities. They supervise the Groundskeepers and provide thoughtful and responsive customer service to inter-departmental team members and external vendors and contractors. They maintain the various and diverse landscapes in our themed sections of the Zoo and oversee our composting, trash and recycling programs. In close collaboration with the Senior Manager, Grounds & Horticulture, the Grounds Manager helps implement the grounds and landscaping initiatives, goals and mission.
