Operations Administration Supervisor

About the Position

The Operations Administration Supervisor provides vital support in virtual guest services for the Operations department. They train and supervise the Oakland Zoo’s reception team who are often the first people contacted for assistance by our guests and members. They provide oversight of the major ticketing, reservations, and payment processing that cannot be done solely through digital mediums, and they organize communication both internally and externally to share pertinent information and gather feedback as necessary for the department. This role also provides administrative and organizational support to ensure the smooth and efficient daily operations of the Administrative Offices. This individual plays a key role in enthusiastically assisting staff, volunteers, guests, members, vendors and many others in their daily functions and must epitomize Oakland Zoo values and demonstrate our mission every day.
