The Staff Accountant plays a pivotal role on Oakland Zoo’s Finance team. Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, they create daily reports for management and team members and maintain account receivables, bills, and supporting documentation. The Staff Accountant acts as backup for account payable and payroll and assists in completing audits. They consistently find solutions to challenges while meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
This position will remain open until filled. Initial review of applications will begin by early February.
