Spend the night in a beautiful safari-style canvas tent cabin amongst the live oak trees at Oakland Zoo's California Trail! Start your evening adventure with dinner at the Landing Cafe followed by a guided visit with some of California's most iconic past and present native species such as grizzly bears, bison and mountain lions. Enjoy dessert while taking in the magnificent San Francisco Bay view, then settle in for the night on your cozy cot. Wake up to the morning bird chorus accompanied by a continental breakfast and see for yourself what the animals are up to in the morning. There's no better place to enjoy nature in comfort!
PLEASE NOTE: Each participant must purchase an individual ticket AND each group (up to 6)must also purchase the “add-on” for a tent cabin (with six cots)..
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Participants must be at least 8years old on the date of the event.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Participants will park at the main entrance gate to the Oakland Zoo, 9777 Golf Links Rd. and transfer overnight gear into a zoo vehicle to be taken to the campsite. They will then walk to the gondola to be transported to California Trail. Please let us know if anyone in your group will require assistance as pathways leading to the gondola station can be steep. Directions and details will be emailed following ticket purchase.

What is included with my ticket?
Each participant must purchase the individual ticket and each group of 2 to 6 participants must also purchase the tent cabin. Parking, admission to the zoo, a guide that will remain with the group for the entire time, dinner, a snack and breakfast are included.
