In partnership with ARCAS, Oakland Zoo invites you to a once in a lifetime experience that is good for the wildlife of Central America, the people of Guatemala, and YOU!

Adrienne Mrsny, Conservation Specialist at Oakland Zoo, will be leading a group of (16) adults to Guatemala December 6th-19th. Experience breathtaking rainforests as we help rescued native species in Peten and enjoy the black sand beaches at ARCAS Hawaii (Guatemalan Pacific Coast!) as we help with sea turtle releases. On this unique trip, you will gain experience caring for wildlife and knowledge of the conservation issues they face.

Enjoy exploring Mayan ruins in Tikal and opportunities to experience local culture in Antigua.

Trip includes one in country flight, transportation with a guide, hotels and meals.

Join us for an orientation meeting on Tuesday, February 18th or Thursday, February 27th located in Classroom 1 in the Maddie's Center for Science and Education at Oakland Zoo (from 7pm-8pm)
