$270 per camper for 3 days of camp
Calling all Junior Zoologists! Join us for 3 full days of ZooCamp fun as we play games, sing songs, and think like scientists as we do our own zoology field work at the zoo! Campers will practice their skills of making observations and predictions, finishing out the mini-session with an expedition to the California Trail.
Dates & Times: November Break ZooCamp is Monday, November 22 to Wednesday, November 24, 9am - 4pm every day. To minimize COVID-related risks and to promote social/emotional wellbeing of our campers, this mini-session will be all three days with consistent groups.
Price: $270 per camper
Grades: K - 5th (Campers must be at least 5 years old to attend.)
Campers can expect to start and end their days with an opening circle in their small group. Groups will have scheduled time each day for facilitated learning, group games, free play, animal interactions and observations, lunch, snacks/breaks, and whole-camp activities like song sessions and big games. On Wednesday, all of ZooCamp will do an expedition up to our California Trail to explore a California animal of their choosing.
Campers should bring a water bottle, lunch, snack, and sunscreen with them to camp in a bag that they can carry as groups move from place to place. Campers should also come to camp wearing a hat, closed-toed shoes, and a mask. Staff will do symptom check-ins each morning at drop-off. We'll send out an email with more information and reminders of these expectations before the session starts.
