Oakland Zoo Vets: Taking Action for Wildlife

In addition to the animal care our Veterinary team provides on a regular basis, they are essential to our conservation work and providing a valuable service to the animals right in our backyard. From caring for tiny endangered Sierra Nevada Yellow-Legged Frogs to treating lead poisoning in California Condors, Oakland Zoo Vets are truly Taking Action for Wildlife. Join us for an evening with Dr. Alex Herman, VP of Veterinary Services at Oakland Zoo, as she describes how our veterinary team rescues and cares for local wildlife.
