Order Ahead
Place your food order ahead of time and save time. You can order food online from The Landing Café or Tuskers Grill and have it waiting for you when you get there.
Online ordering is available for daytime visits only (not Glowfari).
Where to Eat at the Zoo
Tusker's Grill
Open daily, Tusker's Grill is located in Parrott Plaza, right inside the main entrance to the Zoo. A variety of food is served with outdoor seating available.

Landing Café
The Landing Café offers chef-inspired cuisine and breathtaking views. The menu features a variety of food, and the observation deck provides panoramic views of six Bay Area counties.
Sat-Sun 10:00am–4:30pm
Savanna's Edge
Located across from the African Veldt (home to the giraffe). Stop by for a snack or cold drink, and marvel at these amazing animals.
The Watering Hole
The Watering Hole is a convenient walk-up snack stand located in the African Savanna. It’s the perfect spot to grab a quick bite or a refreshing drink while exploring the heart of the Zoo.
Children's Snack Cart
The Children's Snack Cart is located in the Wayne and Gladys Valley Children’s Zoo. Here you can snack on sweet treats, popcorn, and beverages. Enjoy them in the open space next to the play structure!
Safari Café
The Safari Café is located in the Rides area. The menu offers fresh cheesy pizza, soft served ice cream, salty pretzels and cold beverages to enjoy before or after a ride on the Oakland Zoo train.
