White-eyed Assassin Bug

Assassin bugs have piercing-sucking mouth parts used to impale prey or enemies and inject venom. The white eye-like spots on this insect’s wings serve to warn enemies.

Assassin bugs are named for their hunting methods, where they use their long needle-like mouth to pierce and inject their prey with venom. Similar to a spider, if spiders were to have only one fang, they then proceed to suck up the liquid insides and drink their food like a bug smoothie.
