Filming & Access Guidelines

All media members covering a story related to Oakland Zoo must contact Oakland Zoo’s Marketing Department to request interviews or filming access before admittance to the Zoo will be permitted. Team members may accommodate press members with story development or assignment support, including interview scheduling, filming access, parking, and security.

Members of the press must always be escorted by a member of Oakland Zoo’s Marketing Department while on-site.

Production companies interested in information regarding permission, location fees, licensing, scheduling, filming, and crediting should contact Isabella Linares at ilinares@aklandzoo.org.

All rights are managed for Oakland Zoo’s photos and videos. Anyone wishing to use Oakland Zoo's photos or videos for commercial use should contact Isabella Linares at ilinares@oaklandzoo.org.
