The Conservation Society of California, the 501(c)3 nonprofit that manages Oakland Zoo, is governed by a Board of Trustees. This group of dedicated volunteers composed of industry, community, and civic leaders provides oversight of the organization’s mission and core values. Trustees also ensure the generation and careful stewardship of resources that enable the Conservation Society of California to advance its vision of a flourishing planet where people and wildlife thrive together.
