Wildlife is Our Life

Oakland Zoo’s closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic has created an abrupt and devastating interruption to our normal admissions driven revenues. To ensure we can sustain our critical animal care and veterinary operations until the Zoo can re-open, we have launched an Animal Care Fund. Learn more and donate below.

** We have received many offers for produce donations, but our animal commissary is well-stocked at this time, so we do not have a current need for food donations. If and when we need donations of produce in the future, we’ll make an announcement on our social media and on this webpage. **

With the evolving pandemic and its impact on our community, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Walk in the Wild on June 27.
