The Gondola here at Oakland Zoo has become an attraction in itself, overlooking multiple counties of the San Francisco Bay area and lifting guests to the newly opened California Trail in style! Here are 5 things you need to know about this sky high adventure.

1. It's Swiss Made - The Gondola was built by our friends at Doppelmayr in Switzerland, and believe us, the Swiss are familiar with quality aerial transportation.

2. It's a Quick Ride – The gondola averages about a 4-minute ride up and another 4-minute ride when you are ready to head back down.
