About the Position

Pay Rate: To maintain internal equity, we have identified the pay rate for this position at the Oakland Zoo as $23.71 per hour. An offer at this pay rate will be our best and final compensation offer.

Position Summary  

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) plays a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of guests and staff. This position is responsible for responding to medical emergencies, assessing and providing medical care, and assists with safety preparedness across the Zoo. Strong customer service skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, and a commitment to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all.
