Free with valid Oakland Zoo membership. No reservation required!

Starting Saturday, May 25 through Monday, September 2, 2024, Oakland Zoo Members are invited to watch the Zoo wake up! See keepers finish their morning routines and watch the animals come out to find what treats await them!

Main entrance opens at 9:00am.

Gondola opens at 9:30am.

Brighten and enrich your morning by joining one of our Education Specialists for a guided experience in nature journaling (and receive a member-exclusive notebook while supplies last!) Capacity is limited, so pre-registration is required.
