Join us to learn how the Iinnii Initiative, a partnership between Blackfeet Nation, members of the Blackfoot Confederacy, Oakland Zoo, and Wildlife Conservation Society, is connecting people to our buffalo and the buffalo to the land through Blackfoot Ways of Knowing, and how the Circle of Iinniii gives us hope for both people and buffalo.

An Evening with Dr. Laurie Marker, Director of Cheetah Conservation Fund

Learn about the cheetah, its plight and the holistic approach that the Cheetah Conservation Fund has been utilizing to protect the world’s fastest land animal. The Cheetah Conservation Fund focuses on community education and wildlife-friendly farming techniques to allow cheetahs and humans to coexist. One of its most successful programs, the Livestock Guarding Dog program, is celebrating 25 years of mitigating human-wildlife conflict.
