Zoo is closed due to wildfire smoke

Due to the wildfires in Northern California and because air quality conditions have reached "unhealthy" levels, the Zoo is currently closed.

If you had reservations for today you will automatically receive a full refund for your general admission ticket(s) order within 7 to 10 business days. You do not need to contact us for a refund.

Midday closures occasionally happen if conditions change rapidly, so please check your email or our website for  up-to-date information (or social media channels, links in the bottom of this email) before you leave home.

To visit the Zoo on a different day, you can re-purchase tickets at www.oaklandzoo.org/tickets.
